I have an IBM laptop that has a wireless G notebook card by Belkin on it. My problem is, that I cannot get the software for it off of the laptop, even through add & remove programs.
Any & all suggestions will be looked at, as I am desperate. Thank you.

  1. You can go to your programs list under
    Start
    >Control Panel
    >>Add/Remove Programs
Then search for the Belkin Program and remove it.
If that doesn’t work, try going to your device manager by right-clicking “My Computer” then click “Manage”. That shows you all the devices currently install on your computer. You can then right-click on the belkin device after clicking the “+” symbol next to “Network Adapters” After you right click, it will bring up a menu. On that menu is “uninstall”. However, that uninstalls the Belkin (Hardware) device until you plug the device back in.
good luck and I hope this helped!

i had this problem actually, with my wireless card, if you just don’t want to use it anymore, you can check a box in the program that says use Windows wireless client instead (or something like that).
I ended up just using the uninstall link found in the Program menu group, but if you have not got this or it doesn’t work (didn’t work for me for a while), try a system restore Point.
The end all problems final resort, is back up your files and use the original disc that came with your computer to do a full restore.
