Tell the truth, haven’t you ever wanted a toilet that does everything but suck the s**t right out of you? We knew we weren’t the only ones with this twisted fantasy, so here are twelve of our favorite high tech thrones and accessories designed to please your inner geek.

The Japanese Robotic Toilet

Do you have a dirty bottom? No problem, because this toilet can rinse away the funk and gently dry your backside before you stand-up. It also features these super cool ground illuminating LED’s and automatic lid that opens and closes upon entering or exiting the room. With a price tag of only $1100 you too can have your naughty spot pampered each and every time you sit down for business.
Thermochromatic Toilet Seat

Have you ever wondered just how long it has been since that public toilet was last used? With the Thermochromatic toilet seat you can know just that by the change in color. Light orange or yellow means that there was another tush touching that toilet seat recently and you may want to move on to the next stall. Story via Ubergizmo.

AutoClose Toilet Seat

Since the beginning, when man met woman, the two have argued over the toilet seat being left up. Alright, so maybe it wasn’t that long ago, but it does happen quite often and here is the solution. The AutoClose toilet seat uses a built-in sensor to open the lid when someone is present and closes the lid as they leave.

There are so many more important things in life than remembering to put the toilet seat down. Story via Pressalit.

The She-inal / A Urinal for Women

There comes a time in every young woman’s life when they wish they could just stand up and pee like the guys do. How can we blame them, I mean we have all seen some pretty disturbing public toilet seats and you know that a person can only hover over the seat so long before their legs begin to give out.

Well, Urinette made that dream possible when they created the “She-inal”.

This female friendly urinal uses a funnel type device(as seen in photo), allowing woman to stand-up and use the restroom. The popularity of the “She-inal” quickly died out and the company sold the manufacturing rights after selling only 700 units.
Zero Gravity Space Toilet

Gravity often plays an important role when using the restroom, for both men and women. Which leads us to wondering how the fine folks on the Mir Space Station are handling their daily “doodies” in a zero gravity environment.

The photo to the left is taken from the Mir. Located on either side of the toilet seat are what look to be handles. Before any solid waste collection can take place, the astronaut floats over the toilet seat, pulls up on the handles and then twists them inward over his or her thighs. The force from the handles keeps them tightly seated against the seat, preventing them or anything else from floating away.

Oh and just in case curiosity has gotten the best of you, their urine is in fact distilled to create purified water. Although, the water is mostly used in their Electron unit as many of the astronauts are unwilling to drink it. Those sissies!
The Robo Urinal

Have you guys grown tired of holding Mr. Johnson while using the urinal? Well then you’re in luck! This urinal does all of the work for you.

Upon entering the bathroom, simply walk up to the urinal, unzip your pants and let the robot take it from there. Just remember, you do not want to upset the robot before or during this process.

Aside from being really helpful for patrons, this may also serve as a great way to cut down on all of that restroom graffiti. Story via Botropolis.

Wacom Xpee

Ever wondered what would happen if the leading manufacturer of pen tablets teamed up with a urinal company? They would create the Wacom Xpee!

Listen, we all know how boring it can be staring at a wall while we pee, but thanks to some major advancements in technology, we can now turn this everyday task into an art form. Simply aim your stream towards the dark colored mat inside the urinal and see what new creations you can come up with. Your new masterpiece will be viewable on the screen located at the top of the urinal. Story via GearLog.

Oh what fun this would be at a frat party!

The Transparent Toilet

I don’t know about you, but when I am using a public restroom I love the feeling of being watched! Ok, so not really, but if you do then this is the toilet of your dreams.

The concept is simple. A completely transparent housing around the restroom, but when a person enters and trips the motion sensors, the exterior glass becomes opaque providing complete privacy. Yeah, uh humm.

Oh, and no sleeping on the job in this one. If no motion is detected for a specified amount of time, the glass again becomes transparent. Alternatively, if there is too much movement inside, say you were feeling a bit frisky, the glass will also turn transparent alerting passer by’s to a potential problem.
Ipod Toilet Paper Dispenser

I can’t tell you how many times I have wished that my toilet paper dispenser would play music. Well now it can thanks to this high tech toy.

This toilet paper dispenser is like no other, it has a built in iPod docking station, complete with speakers. Now you can wipe and rock out at the same time! Story via Bim Bam Banana.

Japanese Space Toilet

We have already taken a look at how many astronauts are relieving themselves these days, but we leave it to the Japanese to come up with something even more creative.

Imagine a jet pack full of poop and here you have the Space Toilet. A wearable device that detects when you relieve yourself and sucks out the waste into a convenient storage pack on your back. But that’s not all folks! This handy contraption also eliminates unpleasant sounds and odors. Your crew mates will never know when you are going.
Robo Flush

Ahhh, the power of Lego’s. The idea is simple, using Lego robotics and a little ingenuity, these guys have managed to create a robot that automatically flushes the toilet for you when you walk away. Check out the website for instructions to build your own.
Envirolet Composting Toilet

The Envirolet MS10 Composting Toilet claims to be the most efficient waterless self-contained composting toilet on the market. What we find interesting is that this toilet uses no water and apparently controls odors with dual fans.

This toilet can handle up to eight people per day and depending on how often it is used, can go up to a year before it needs to be emptied. Story via Envirolet.

Ladybug the Robotic Bathroom Attendant

While some of the above toilets may solve the age old problem of cleaning your bottom, they offer little help when it comes to bathroom cleanliness and ambiance. That is where Ladybug comes in handy.

The Ladybug bathroom attendant uses a combination of voice recognition software, speech synthesizer programs and of course microphones in its antennae to engage in conversation with restroom users. Aside from offering conversation, Ladybug is equipped with water storage units, scrub brushes and other tools needed for keeping the restroom in tip top shape. The robot is able to maneuver by using detection sensors to safely perform its duties without running into people and walls.

You can have a clean bathroom and great conversation for a mere $30,000 U.S. when this robot hits Japanese markets. Story via Pink Tentacle.
