My hubby records music on a digital recorder. And I know that there is software that you can buy to give the music a better sound, make it sound better produced and polished off ect. Can someone give me the name of a good program? Be specific please.

One Response to “What Kind Of Software Is The Best For Music Recordings?”

  1. Unfortunately, the software does not yield a better sound, it is the sound card. The software only allows for more things to be done to manipulate the sound, but generally speaking, software does not change sound quality in a direct sense. So to get better sound, you should buy a decent sound card. I use this: http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/PreSonus-FP10-10×10-FireWire-Interface?sku=242036
Then once you have that, you can start looking into software, but it begins to get complicated if you don’t take the time to learn what all the terms mean and how it all works.
Hope that helps and good luck.
